Received a Letter?

If you have received a letter from us, this means that your debt has been purchased from another company and we have been appointed to recover this on behalf of the new legal owner. Our letter will include all of the finer details, such as the remaining balance owed, the type of account (credit card, loan etc) and who the original creditor was.

We have been approved by the Financial Conduct Authority to recover any outstanding money that is still owed. But don't worry, we won't be adding on any interest or fees, unless the matter is referred for legal action however, if we can agree repayment with you directly, this won't be necessary.

Before your account was purchased, the appropriate checks were carried out to ensure this debt can still be recovered and that your details are still up-to-date. All the relevant information was also obtained from the original creditor. However, if you would like more information, please get in touch with us on our contact page

If you regularly check your credit score (which we recommend you do), you may notice that MFDP Ltd is now listed against this debt instead of the original creditor. Going forward, we’ll update the Credit Reference Agencies with any changes, such as the updated balance once you start to repay the account.
