Now that we're the new owners of the debt, we are legally authorised to reclaim any outstanding money that is still owed. But don't worry, we won't be adding on any interest or fees, unless the matter is referred for legal action however, if we can agree repayment with you directly, this won't be necessary.
Before we purchased your account, we carried out appropriate checks to ensure this debt can still be reclaimed and that your details are up to date. We also ensured that we received all the relevant information from the original creditor.
If you regularly check your credit score (which we recommend you do), you may notice that MFDP Ltd is now listed against this debt instead of the original creditor. Going forward, we’ll update the Credit Reference Agencies with any changes, such as repayment of the account.
